This information is collected from mortgagees, mortgagors, contractors, and attorneys for the purpose of obtaining multifamily mortgage insurance for new or rehabilitated housing. The information collected is used to determine if key principals are acceptable and have the ability to manage the development, construction, completion, and successful lease-up of the proposed property.
The information collection was erroneously cancelled based on the number of applications from Housing Finance Agencies seeking to participate in the Risk-Sharing Program (less than 10 annually) and not the ongoing program requirements of those HFAs currently approved to participate in the Program, which includes but not limited to, the number of mortgage insurance applications processed and monitoring requirements.
