The Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) program provides reliable estimates of the accuracy of benefit payments and denied claims in the UI program, and identifies the sources of mispayments and improper denials so that their causes can be eliminated.
Paid Claim Activity hours per case, previously stated at 10.496, have been rounded to 10.5 hours. This technical adjustment results in an increase in the total burden hours of 92 hours. Also, previously, the annual cost to the Federal Government was omitted, while costs ascribed to respondents were removed because those costs are actually covered by federal allocations. Both adjustments have been made.
