This submission is for conducting cognitive one-on-one interviews, implementing a second pretest, and administering the main survey. Cognitive one-on-one interviews will help the researchers test respondent’s understanding of the material and to evaluate certain sections of the survey or wording issues. The second pretest will be used to test changes to and programming of the questionnaire. The main survey is a research effort designed to test the representativeness of RDD-recruited Internet panels. It will be implemented using two independently-recruited internet panels: the American National Election Study (ANES) Internet Panel and Stanford’s Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Internet Panel.
