The reporting, recordkeeping and third party dislcosure requirements implement Section 251 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, to promote deployment of advanced services without significantly degrading the performance of other services. All the requirements will be used by the Commission and competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) to facilitate the deployment of advanced data services and to implement Section 251 of the Act.
The Commission is revising this IC due to elimination of a previously approved data element. The item eliminated is Request for Alternative Physical Access which was estimated at 700 burden hours. Other reporting requirement estimates were updated since the last submission to the OMB in 2006. Therefore, the Commission is reporting a -700 hour program change and a -103,410 hourly adjustment of the total annual burden resulting in a new estimated burden of 61,490 total annual hours.
