The information collection supports an APHIS interim final rule that establishes a program to prevent the introduction of VHS into the U.S. aquaculture facilities by controlling the movement of certain live fish species at risk of harboring VHS virus, which causes a highly contagious disease of certain fresh and salt water fish.
This is a new collection of 2,191 burden hours to prevent the introduction of Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia into U.S. acquaculture facilities.
