To facilitate data collection for the 2010 Census, the Census Bureau is developing an Integrated Communications Campaign. The role of the campaign is to increase public awareness and motivate people to respond promptly to the Census. As part of the campaign a variety of materials will be developed (e.g. print ads, TV ads, radio spots, billboards). To ensure that campaign materials are relevant, effective, and reaching their diverse target audiences, the Census Bureau is seeking a generic OMB clearance to cover a variety of pre-testing and evaluation activities to support the campaign (e.g. focus groups, copy testing, small scale surveys).
