This collection is approved with change. Minor revisions were made to the statement of confidentiality to inform participants that all information will be kept "private to the extent permitted by law." There were also minor changes made in the description of incentives to sponsors to include partial compensation for monitors and retrieval of documents. FNS also provided an updated schedule/timeline for the project.

To evaluate methods for validating meal claims by FDCHs for reimbursement, FNS is conducing this pilot project to assist in identifying reliable, feasible, and cost-effective methods for estimating the valid number of reimbursable meals provided to participating children by the FDCHs that participate in CACFP.
