OSHA is proposing to publish a safety standard for the construction industry that regulates confined spaces. Employers and employees would use the collections of information whenever they identify a confined space at a constructions site. The collections of information permit employers and employees to systematically evaluate the dangers and hazards in confined spaces before, during, and subsequent to entering the confined spaces, thereby ensuring that the spaces are safe for entry, and remain safe during entry.
