The study will help determine whether early literacy preschool programs have an impact on participating children, and, if so, whether such effects vary among different types of children, families, schools and children’s preschool and program experiences. The information will guide decision making in preschool classroom practices and interventions to improve acquisition of early literacy skills and program implementation. The respondents will be preschool children, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents.
