Abstract: Each owner or operator of a source affected by the standards is required to submit an initial notification that the source is subject to the standard. Each respondent submits semiannual compliance reports. Additional records and notifications depend on which subcategory the boilers or process heaters are in. The owner or operator of an industrial, commercial, or institutional boiler or process heater for which there are applicable emission limits control hazardous air pollutants (HAP) by either limiting the HAP content in the inlet fuels or by using an emission control system to meet the applicable emission limits.
