Abstract: This survey is designed to gather information from U.S. veterans to help the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to better plan for future burial needs of veterans. The VA will be using the collected information to further its planning for the future needs of veterans and the perpetual care and maintenance of veterans' grave sites. Additional data collection will be obtained from 440 focus group participants representing veterans, family members of veterans, national and state cemetery directors, and funeral directors.
