This clearance package contains descriptions, supporting statements, and burden information for the 2008-2010 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) assessments. This is a Systems Clearance request for which a three-year clearance is requested for background materials of students, teachers and schools.
The decrease in burden is due to differences in sample sizes between state assessments years (i.e. years that include one or more assessments that support state-by-state reporting and national-only assessment years. NAEP will conduct state assessments only in one year, 2009. The decrease in student sample size is accompanied by decreases in teacher and school samples.
