In July and August of 2006, the Regional Educational Laboratory Northwest (REL-NW) hosted a series of forums with educators in the five states REL-NW serves to discuss the types of evidence educators need to improve student achievement. This project is a follow-up survey with teachers, principals, and district superintendents in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska to prioritize the evidentiary needs for improving student learning. Findings from the study will aid in setting the research agenda for REL-NW.
