This information collection is designed to provide the Forest Service Southwestern Region with information and analytical results related to attitudes, beliefs, values, objectives, and preferences of user groups and the general public related to national forest/grassland use and management. The information and analytical results will assist and support the Forest Plan revision process under the 2005 NFMA Planning Rule, as published in the Federal Register, Vol. 70, pp. 1023-1061 on 1/5/2005.
