Short Statement: The 1,187 hour adjustment increase is in part due to a request to collect data from an additional 3,325 establishments. OSHA is also assuming the burden for the estimated number of establishments that overlap between BLS Annual Survey and the OSHA data collection. In prior ICRs, OSHA excluded this group from its burden estimates. Since OSHA does not know the exact number in this group, it is assuming the burden for the full 100,000 establishments surveyed.
