This submission requests approval of the permit-related information collection approval for measures contained in Framework Adjustment 40-B. Framework Adjustment 40-B proposes the following new information collection requirements: (1) Requests for allocation of Georges Bank cod to facilitate research projects; (2) The Western Gulf of Maine Rod/Reel Haddock Special Access Program; (3) Herring vessel observer and law enforcement notifications; and (4) Request for Days-at-Sea credit from standing by an entangled whale.
