Approved. DHS will provide within one month of clearance a plan and timeframe for electronic submission of all CIS forms. This implementation plan will include a prioritization/timeframe for individuals to submit all CIS forms electronically. The factors used to determine this prioritization of forms should include, but is not limited to: the number of respondents, programmatic needs, and the impact of electronic submission on total burden hours (i.e. electronic submission may reduce total burden hours if information submitted on a separate but related form can be tranferred to the second form). Failure to comply with these terms of clearance may result in future disapprovals of this and any other CIS information collection requests for clearance.
