Terms of Clearance: Approved. DHS will provide within one month of clearance a plan and timeframe for electronic submission of all CIS forms. This implementation plan will include a prioritization/timeframe for individuals to submit all CIS forms electronically. The factors used to determine this prioritization of forms should include, but is not limited to: the number of respondents, programmatic needs, and the impact of electronic submission on total burden hours (i.e. electronic submission may reduce total burden hours if information submitted on a separate but related form can be tranferred to the second form). Failure to comply with these terms of clearance may result in future disapprovals of this and any other CIS information collection requests for clearance.

Abstract: To date, through the filing of this form a U.S. citizen may facilitate the entry of his/or fiance(e) into the United States so that a marriage may be concluded within 90 days of entry between the U.S. citizen and the beneficiary of the petition. This form now must be used to cover the provisions of section 1103 of the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act of 2000 which allows the spouse or child of a U.S. citizen to enter the U.S. as a nonimmigrant. The I-129F is the only ecisting form which collects the requisitive information so that an adjudicator can make the appropriate decisions pursuant..
