Under 35.U.S.C. Sec.41 and 15 U.S.C. Sec.1113, as implemented in 37 CFR 1.16-1.28, 1.492, 2.6 and 2.7, the USPTO charges fees for processing and services related to patents, trademarks, and information products, which may be paid by credit card. The Electronic Credit Card Payment form is being added to this collection. It allows the public to submit credit card payments online. This collection is used by the public to pay various fees by credit card and by USPTO to process these payments. Using a separate form allows the c.c. info to be excluded from USPTO docs that are available to the public.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
