Statewide ozone season NOx emissions budgets are required for 19 States and the District of Columbia. Starting in 2002 or 2003, depending on the situation, these States are required to electronically report data to EPA to demonstrate progress toward achieving their budgets, which must be met by 2007. States must report data annually for those point, area, and mobile sources for those point, area, and mobile sources for which they adopt control measures to meet their NOx budgets.
