The regulations in 9 CFR part 94 govern the importation of certain animals and animal products into the United States in order to prevent the introduction of various animal diseases, such as rinderpest, foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), classical swine fever (CSF), and exotic Newcastle disease (END). Among other things 94.6 of the regulations lists regions that are considered to be free of END.
