The Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) requires the Forest Service to collect information from all applicants for permits to graze livestock on National Forest System lands. Respondents include individuals, partnerships, corporations, associations, and other private entities. The data collected is used by the Forest Service to administer the grazing program in accordance with applicable federal law and regulations.
