Abstract: Information collected from the applications are used to ensure that individuals selected to be Head Start Fellows have the appropriate experience/skills, and that the training developed for them and the work assigned to them will enhance their ability to make significant contributions to the fields of child development and family services. Information collected is used by program staff and policy makers at the Federal level to make judgements on the progress and needs of the program.
