To extend privileges and immunities, under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, 1963. The Department of State must obtain information from foreign government representatives concerning the termination of assignment of diplomatic and career and honorary consular officers, foreign government employees and their dependents in the United States.
