Abstract: National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has a need for an anthropometric database containing face size and its distribution of respirator users who reply on respirators to prevent work-related respiratory illnesses, injuries and death. The database will be used to establish fit-test panels representative of today's workers so that NIOSH's assessment of respirator performance characteristics can be as accurate as possible.
