Abstract: AmeriCorps will conduct an in-depth study of attrition within its programs to examine attrition trends and patterns and determine why attrition occurs. The Corporation will use this information to identify factors that explain current attrition patterns that may reduce program attrition. The study will target a sample of 1000 former AmeriCorps members who failed to complete one or more terms of service, engaging them in a one-time 30 minute telephone interview.
