Abstract: The DS-3035 collects information from J visa recipients who request a waiver of the INA 212(e) requirement that they return to their home countries for two years upon completion of their stay in the United States. CA/VO/L/W reviews that information provided on the form and makes a recommendation to the Immigration and Naturalization Service as to whether INS should grant the waiver.
