Abstract: IRS will conduct a pre-post design experiment of the effectiveness of an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) communications campaign. Taxpayers who are potentially eligible for this credit will be contacted by Random Digit Dial (RDD) telephone survey before and after televised public service announcements. Information from this study will provide valuable insights that will be used to plan future communications.
