Abstract: The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council had submitted a Tilefish Fishery Management Plan. As part of the implementation of this plan vessels, operators, and dealers in the fishery would be required to obtain permits. The information in applications, and the ability to revoke permits, for violations, will be used to manage the fishery.
