Abstract: The study will collect data from people who receive food from food pantries and emergency kitchens. Data will be used to characterize clients of food pantries and emergency kitchens, determine their participation in, knowledge of, and experience with USDA food assistance programs, and to assess their food security status. The study will inform public policy about the interaction between the emergency food system and USDA food assistance programs.
