The Corrections Program Office (CPO) requires environmental analysis from recipients of the Violent Offender Incarceration/ Truth-in-Sentencing projects that involve construction, expansion or renovation. The Project Summary Review will help CPO determine the status of the project and what additional analysis must be done. In addition, the Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements will determine whether a site is eligible to use federal funding.
