Abstract: The Wool Act Regulations (16 C.F.R. 300) require accurate disclosure of material information about wool products. They also require manufacturers and other marketers of covered products to keep records showing compliance with the Wool Products Labeling Act. Potential purchasers rely upon disclosed fiber content and country of origin information to make informed purchasing decisions. Recordkeeping provides a means to monitor and substantiate claims.
