Abstract: The proposed ergonomics program standard is an occupational safety and health standard that will address the significant risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) confronting employees in various jobs in general industry workplaces. The standard's information collection requirements are essential components that will assist both employers and their employees in identifying MSDs, as well as identifying means to take to reduce or eliminate MSDs.
