Abstract: Fostering citizenship and development of those who participate in National Service is a central purpose of the mission of the Corporation for National and Community Service. This study will provide baseline data for an overall longitudinal study design which includes measurement over time of the effects of service on the members who serve in two Americorps programs: State/National and the National Civilian Community Corps.
