Terms of Clearance: The agency must more fully respond to the questions in the supporting statement by describing each of the multiple application requirements and a burden estimate for each. In particular, since a tribal resolution in support of the petition is part of the application requirements and cannot be interpreted as a necessary step to implementing a child custody program, the information collection should account for the time required to prepare and obtain such a resolution.

Abstract: Part 13 of 25 CFR concerns the jurisdictional authority in child custody cases. The information requested from the tribes is used to decide the tribe's ability to exercise their jurisdiction in child custody cases.
