In implementing the new categories, EEOC will take the necessary steps to ensure that interactive diskette is updated so that it remains an option for respondents.

EEO-5 data are used by EEOC to investigate charges of employment discrimination against public elementary and secondary school districts. Data are shared with Department of Education (Office for Civil Rights and Center for Statistics), Department of Justice, and 23 State and 56 local FEPAs.
