The information collection requirements imposed on the public by regulations set out in 7 CFR 1980, subpart B, are necessary to administer the Farm Loan Program's (FLP) guaranteed loan program in accordance with the Consolidation Farm and Rural Development Act. These collection requirements are consistent with commonly performed lending practices. Collection of information before the loan is made is necessary to determine compliance with statutory and regulatory program requirements. Collection of information after loans are made is necessary to protect the Government's financial interest.
