ERS will collect information on the demographic, economic, and housing characeristics of rural residents who participate in USDA's single-family rural housing loan program. Findings will be provided to the Administration, USDA, and the Congress on the design and efficacy of policies and programs to insure that adequate and affordable housing is available in rural areas.
