Emergency approval of the planning instructions being sent to prospective Indian and Native American Welfare-to-Work (INA W2W) grantees is being requested. These instructions provide eligible tribal entities with requirements for preparing and submitting plans to the Department so that they may be funded to receive INA W2W grant funds for fiscal year 1998. This is a new program authorized under title V, section 5001(c), of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (Pub. L. 105-33).
