Abstract: This standard requires employers to train employees about the hazards of 1,2-Dibromo-3-Chloropropane (DBCP), to monitor employee exposure, to provide medical surveillance, and maintain accurate records of employee exposure to DBCP. These records will be used by employers, employees, physicians, and the Government to ensure that employees are not harmed by exposure to DBCP in the workplace.
