Abstract: These data that are collected and published every 5 years as part of the census of manufactures provide conversion factors to measure the relationship between fabric yardage produced and the volume of fiber consumed for Government and industry analysts. These changes reflect the constant changes in fabric content and machinery used by the textile industry.
