Approved as amended by ED's 4/5/96 memorandum to OMB. In addition, ED has agreed to add research question about graduate school retention and completion, because this information is collected on the survey instrument and important to understand rate of return. ED will also provide OMB with field test reports and recommendations regarding the following survey items: V.D.1, V.D.2, and VI.B.1, to determine their utility for inclusion in the main study. -- Burden has been assigned for the field test componenet only. ED shall submit an inventory correction worksheet along with any changes and the field test report for the main study. -- Electronic submission has been entered as zero, since the respondent does not provide information electronically.

This study will collect and report data about students who completed a bachelor's degree in 1992-93. Specifically, this followup will collect data concerning post-baccalaureate degree attendance, persistence, and completion; transition into the work force; and career paths of those who entered teaching at the elementary/secondary level.
