Abstract: USDA and certain other Government agencies need detailed domestic rice distribution data to help evaluate the economic impacts of changing rice distribution patterns on the agricultural sector and GNP. These data also help guide efforts to expand domestic rice use, which indirectly reduce Government outlays.
