Terms of Clearance: This collection was submitted less than 90 days before October 1, 1995 when the 1995 PRA will become effective. As a consequence OMB has had less than the 90 days allowed for review under the PRA as provided under the current Act. We request that the review be resubmitted under the review procedures provided in the 1995 PRA in order that requirements of the 1995 Act can be followed, including the time provided for public comment. During this process we request that the OCC review all existing reporting and recordkeeping requirements required of national banks by all federal regulatory agencies to ensure that there is no duplication of requirements.

Abstract: The OCC needs hard data to determine the level and type of national bank activity in local community development. The OCC will use the information collected from national banks to determine the effectiveness of its programs to encourage national banks to continue and expand their community development efforts.
