Abstract: NPLOS IS A VOLUNTARY, CONFIDENTIAL SURVEY OF A RANDOM SAMPLE OF RURAL PRIVATE LANDOWNERS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE NPLOS WILL PROVIDE CRITICAL INFORMATION ON TRENDS IN LAND USE, ACCESS, AND RESTRICTIONS F THE RENEWABLE RESOURCES PLANNING ACT ASSESSMENT OF 1998 AND THE THIRD RESOURCE CONSERVATION ACT APPRAISAL.
