Abstract: FOREST CONSERVATION, FOREST MANAGEMENT, STEWARDSHIP, INCENTIVE PROGRA THIS STUDY PROVIDES ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR FULFILLMENT OF SECTION 3 OF THE RESOURCES PLANNING ACT. THIS DATA IS NEEDED TO EVALUATE HOW FUNDS WILL BE EXPENDED UNDER THE STEWARDSHIP INCENTIVE PROGRAM (SIP) AND DISTRIBUTED TO STATES FOR THE FOREST STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM (FSP). THE 8 MILLION PRIVATE FORESTLAND OWNERS IN THE NATION ARE MANY MOTIVATIONS.
