Abstract: CIVIL DEFENSE, RADIO BROADCASTING, EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM' DATA IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE THE DISTRIBUTION OF FEDERAL FUNDS TO SELECTED CRITICAL RADIO STATIONS IN THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM (EBS). FUNDS ARE USED TO PURCHASE PROTECTION AND BACKUP EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE THAT THE EBS WILL FUNCTION WHEN NEEDED BY THE PRESIDENT OR OTHER AUTHORIZED USERS.
