New collection (Request for a new OMB Control Number)
Because this collection is significantly different from the current libraries clearance package (OMB #1850-0661), a new OMB number has bee assigned and the burden hours will be reflected under this package. E may submit an inventory correction worksheet to remove the currently approved burden from its inventory. OMB continues the pending conditi of clearance on 1850-0661, which asks for an analysis of the annual variation in data reported by States to accompany ED's next request fo clearance. This analysis will inform the decision as to whetherannual collection of these data remains necessary. -- Also, ED shall provide a justification of its proposed new data element on State total population as soon as possible. No justificatio appears in ED's supporting materials. -- The cover letter shall indicate that participation in this survey i voluntary.
