Abstract: INTERVIEW THE PUBLIC WHO CURRENTLY USE THE MT. BAKER-SNOQUALMIE NATION FOREST TO IDENTIFY RECREATIONAL USES TO AID MANAGERS AND PLANNERS IN THE DECISIONMAKING PROCESS SO THAT PREFERRED OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE PUBLIC. WITHOUT THIS COLLECTION, THE FOREST SERVICE WOULD HAVE DIFFICULTY IN MEETING THE CHANGING RECREATION NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC AS STATED IN THE 1976 NATIONAL FOREST MANAGEMENT ACT.
