Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED's 2/16/93 memorandum to OMB. In addition, w note that ED has many research priorities requiring pressing attention. Future surveys submitted through PEQIS shall address those pressing priorities before devoting resources to less immediate needs. -- Furthermore, ED revised the darft survey based on a pretest as of 12/7/92, and did not forward a copy of this revision until 2/16/93. OMB encourages pretesting, which should occur prior to submission of a clearance package if possible. If not possible, ED shall send a revis survey instrument as soon as one is developed, to ensure that OMB reviews the most current document, rather than at the end of the revie period.
